Administering medication (under the guidance of healthcare professionals) and providing medication reminders.
Monitoring vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure) and reporting any changes to medical staff.
Ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
Providing transportation to medical appointments and other outings.
Emotional Support and Companionship:
Engaging in conversation and activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
Providing a caring and positive presence.
Offering emotional support and encouragement.
Developing a positive and trusting relationship with the client.
Other Responsibilities:
Developing and reviewing client care plans.
Attending team meetings and communicating with other healthcare professionals.
Supervising other care workers and providing guidance.
Responding to emergencies and providing support.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided.
